I think bennett needs a fresh start and I think Hutton can also use a different kind of scenery.

I also think Dal Colle needs a new kind of scenery as well as Subban as with the rise of Chatfield it doesn't look like Subban will be used.

Dal Colle is right where he needs to be for the Islanders. He isn't the type of player that will carry a line. I see him developing like Josh Bailey. Does not getting high end talent by now out of that pick hurt? Absolutely. But the Islanders are pretty stacked on the D depth chart. Wouldn't make sense to trade him for another D project. Towes, Aho Pulock would all be higher than Subban on the depth chart.

I think Dal Colle would cost more than that. We have enough D-men as well, unless you'd be willing to part with say Tanev in a bigger package. MDC + higher of NYI/CGY 1st?
