That's a crazy contract for Krebs given the season he's had

15 points in 73 games (only 23 years). How do you expect him to unlock how to Buffalo behind Thompson and Cozens? I think he would be more likely to do it in Montreal in a complementary role to Suzuki and Slafkovsky (less responsibility than in the center). He is a player known for his excellent skating.

and Barron is absolutely not a 2nd pair guy

Also, Mittelstadt was quite effective as a 3C for us
Not that he’s gone, why wouldn’t we give Krebs some time there to see what happens ?
