Sure, it would work this year but then we have to pay for raises for Fowler, Manson and Montour as well as either resign or replace Cogs and Bieksa. It will also cost more than that to get chucky. As for RNH, I don't think they retain. The whole point of moving him would be to free up cap space. By retaining that amount they are actually taking on cap. It also pushes Eaves to the 4th line which doesn't make sense. Ducks would add 1 player not 2 IMO. Chucky making the most sense as we would be moving our players out east rather than a divisional rival.
