Vegas isn't going to downgrade from Whitecloud to Liiljegren for a mere fifth and a million or less in cap relief.

100% no major change happens, this isn't Marner's first time being called out for playoff failure (back to back 0 goals Rounds) and even everyone's favorite Leaf playoff hockey "god" Nylander had been accused in the past as being a playoff floater. The first few weeks will be bad, but things will calm down.

The Leafs aren't in any cap hell, I do Acgm for the Leafs next year and they have $16 million to fill out a roster of 4 more players (top 6 forward, 2 Dmen and a backup goalie), that's plenty enough money to get that.
