Description
Notes with the assumption that Craig Berube is the Head Coach:

Marner Trade Proposal:

Marner for Shea Theodore, Roy, and a third-round pick.
Marner would sign an extension with Vegas.
Vegas is a good destination due to their pursuit of top-tier talent.
Vegas willing to part with Theodore due to depth on defense and Hanafin's increasing role.
Goaltending Options:

Filip Gustavsson is a strong starting option, potentially available.
Liljegren could be a suitable defensive addition for Minnesota.
Defensive Acquisition:

Jan Rutta would bolster the Leafs' defense, being a seasoned right-handed defenseman with Stanley Cup experience.
Offensive Addition:

Tyler Toffoli, a Toronto native, would be an ideal addition, potentially willing to take a hometown discount. He brings valuable playoff experience and clutch performance.
Physicality on the Fourth Line:

Clutterbuck is favored for his physical play, making him a great fit for the 4th line.
Goaltending Security:

Signing Nedeljkovic would provide goaltending depth and security in case of injuries, with the ability to step up when needed.

Leafs have also interviewed Dallas Eakins and Todd McLellan.

But I'd think Berube would be the favorite.

I liked McLellan in San Jose.

They’ve interviewed a lot more than just 3 guys, I can tell you that. Wouldn’t say there’s a favourite yet, Treliving does his due diligence and checks all his boxes. It’s still early for him

I just had a very similar team submitted. Exactly what I anticipated Marner trade would be.

I would not hire Dallas Eakins to walk my dog let alone coach a hockey team
