Trades i was ok with:
Dubnyk was a hot mess and would never be starter behind price
Lars Eller Trade - just didnt like it led to the Shaw trade.
Vanek im indifferent about.
I still see Emelin taken by Vegas with this lineup

Dub was a broken goalie, with a $3.5m expiring contract, when MTL got him. MTL (rightfully) let him walk away as a UFA. Whatever the Yotes coaches did fixed him the next year. Minny got him for a 3rd, and it looked like a Hail Mary at the time of the trade.

Vanek walked away as a UFA. He wanted to go to Minny as the worst kept secret in the league. Snow dumped him, because he wouldn't sign there. $6.5m/yr Vanek isn't something you'd really want.
