Getting Sekera and Davidson doesn't really get Dallas in the "win now mode." Sekera might be a slight upgrade from Hamhuis, but Davidson is not. First and third rounders are grave overpayments, when you think in a longer scale. His term is going to be one heck of a downgrade when thinking about the fact that Dallas has to start resigning valid members of their roster, such as Seguin, who has two years left of his term. Also the fact that he seem to be declining, and maybe hard to trade away later due to his NMC doesn't really make him a tempting player to get.

Dallas trade is definite no. And the other trades are not that realistic either.

I wouldn't do that Duclair trade from a Yotes POV. What about Duclair for R. Strome?

If Edmonton were honestly sellers, They'd be going after picks and prospects. Not adding Duclair, Fabbri, Hamuis and Bogosian.
