Description
Annoying feeling that if AV remains coach, Buch gets traded. Another thing of “I don’t know how to use him.”
Also made some trades to get younger. If you guys don’t agree, totally understandable. Moving McD is due to my opinion that Skjei needs a long term contract which will be in $5M range, and NYR can’t keep paying defense all the cap, McD will get a raise in the $7M range so somehow, has to be figured out.

I don’t know if this is a “bad trade” I just really despise the reality that AVs dislike of Buchnevich can force him out instead of getting fired. Buch has 3rd most points, yet plays 4th line or is a healthy scratch. The ONLY realistic way I’d be happy losing Buch is for a guy like Trocheck. He’s def a top 2 C, but I am adding Hayes since I feel like they’d want him back for losing Trocheck.

Edmonton trade.... Nash is UFA at the end of the season and 1 year of McDonagh vs 4 year with RNH, Nurse and Puljujärvi are RFA... It's a huge overvalue for Nash and McDonagh. And take a look to the cap... Be serious!!

You could be right, but the way I look at it, is simply put McDavid is getting $12.5M next year for 8 years. They’ll have him and Draisatl $21M on the cap for their top 2 Cs. RNH $6M off the books can be big, and McD would become their 1LHD or 2 LHD behind Klefbom. Nash playing with McDavid May spark him and 11 points out of playoffs isn’t impossible to overcome with 38 games left. Nash never had an actual 1 Center to play with. I’m also looking at
If Nash gets moved alone, he can warrant a young player and a 1st or top prospect, and McDonagh can return a 1/2C with picks or prospects.

And Nash $7.8M does come off the books next year freeing up more $ for EDM.
