Saw this trade earlier this week so credit to the original poster, I saw some people saying that NSH would have cap problems, but with their current cap space and the cap going up next year, I don't think they'll have too much issue retaining Ellis with this transaction especially since Pekka is coming off the books that same year and will probably take a pay cut.
