No, no, no. Why trade a key piece to win now in Parayko who is arguably our best defenseman plus Hutton? Allen makes 4.35 mil so he would have to go in a trade the other way. Plus, Montreal will have to retain some salary in the deal for the Blues to even take him on

Jake Allen has a higher save percentage this year than Carey Price. Yes, I realize that around the league it is widely accepted that Price is a better goaltender, but not $6.15 Million better. Carter Hutton leads the league in save percentage and GAA. Until both of our goalies crash and there is some serious money retention, STL has no reason to be interested in Price. Our strengths fit your needs but your's don't fit ours unfortunately.
