Value either way might be reasonable, however for cap and contract reasons, problematic for Leafs. (already at 50 contracts) Stone not a fit long term!

I think the Leafs aren't moving Kapanen. Soshnikov, Martin and Gauthier however might be in play and those are guys who'd fit the Flames needs, afaik?

I just have a hard time seeing where Kapanen will fit. The top 2 RW spots are filled by Marner and Nylander and Kapanen is not a bottom 6 player. With players like JVR, Brown, Hyman etc Kapanen will have a hard time landing a spot. Figured it’s time Toronto moves him for a player who can help now.
