Don't know if this is enough to get the deal done. 1) OTT may want more coming back, and BOS may not be willing to pay. 2) Stone is injured right now; if Boston gives up Spooner while they're waiting for Stone to get healthy that will cause an incredibly big hole. We're in contention for the President's Trophy, every game counts.

Yeah, try adding a big time prospect + to this one if you want Ottawa to even consider it. Stone is just entering his prime and is one of the top 2-way wingers in the game. He's a right shot RW, with 25+ goal talent? Not getting that for such a weak package.

I agree with that. I viewed your comment as more of winning that trophy is important. You can still get home ice without winning the Presidents Trophy.

Yes, but home ice all the way through will be nice especially if we end up playing a team like TBL who seems to be almost as hot as us...
