thats right, this was a very plausible lineup to have this season. Drafting sergachev, debrincat , sam girard and mete were all possible and attainable.. going for eric staal where you clearly need center depth instead of fishing for shaw because bergevin drafted him. keeping radulov, keeping markov. and would you look at all that cap space we'd still have for a major cup run this year. so many rentals available. we wouldnt even need there help. trading subban or keeping him wouldnt make a huge difference.

wed have the sexiest, youngest, skilled and best skating d-line in the nhl.

lehkonen, debrincat, hudon, scherbak all coming into the league, speed, skilled young wingers.
plekanec as our fourth, have enough patience and flexibility to keep galchenyuk as a 3 or 2 Center. having a legit dangerous first line, carey price.

what a season we wouldve had, the entertainment value of watching all that speed and skill and knowing theres so much more to come..
