Seems fair, don’t know how keen the Caps are on trading Backstrom though. I’d love to see Hoffman and Ovi catching passes and taking 1T’s from Backstrom on that Powerplay. Disgusting. ?

This. I don't think Brassard is the kind of defensive presence who can shut down Crosby overs even games. Backstrom is. Brassard on a third line is better than Riley Sheahan. But you're robbing Peter to pay Paul.
