This is artificially high because you're bidding against Tampa. So Washington loses a ton at teh deadline, and then loses a ton this summer when Carlson walks. Just trade Carlson to Tampa for two firsts, then with no competition, offer NYR Orpikand Djoos for McDonagh. If they say no, offer the same package for Edler and MDZ, for OEL and Schenn, and on down the line. No luck? Maybe throw in a 2nd and start again.
