    That Sens trade isn't close. Quality over quantity is what's going to get Karlsson. Ho Sang is good offensively (but not anywhere close defensively), Aho looks promising, sure, but the Sens aren't taking a cap dump and a 26 year old middle 6er for Erik Karlsson. It's not about putting a bunch of pieces together and hoping it fits. If it's a sign and trade, he's going to fetch a whole lot. If it's not Barzal (I wouldn't if I were an Isles fan, but that's what he'd cost), it would have to involve Pulock and Bellows plus more before even being considered.

    Sabres hang up. Lehner is far better than Griess, they have no use for him. Its a giant waste of cap space for them. Vande Somple is intriguing but not enough
