Almost certainly not enough to get Johnson. Also I think we can't count on Kyrou at the beginning of next year to be a Top Line guy. Edmundson and Fabbri deals look good, would love to bring back Brodziak as well, though.

Well you would have the option of using Kostin or move Sobotka up.
Also TB will look for depth to save some cap, maybe they can get another team to offer better players but they will ultimately need to save money so I thought this would do that while filling a couple spots in their lineup.

I considered that but I think they'd want more for a young Top 6 with term. I'd still like to add Johnson, but I think they'd ask for Kostin instead of Sanford in that deal. I'm not sure if Kostin will ever develop into as good a player as Johnson, but in the cap era, I'd be hesitant to deal him now while he's on his ELC.

Yeah, I agree with that. I think STL could give up one of their better prospects to get Johnson, maybe Foley or Stevens instead of Kostin, Thompson Kyrou or Thomas.
