Description
Calgary gets rid of a player that costs a lot to play in the bottom 6, but trades Sam Bennett to make it worth while. (I've seen Flames fans post a trade like this).

With Arizona, they get rid of an LTIR contract and get a player also with a bad contract, but at least he can play. This also gives both goalies a change in scenery and they also get a defenseman who can play in the top 4. The picks are to help sweeten the pot.

The St. Louis deal is just a pure hockey trade. Parayko is a great young top 4 defenseman and sending Hoffman and Pittsburgh's 1st is fair value imo.

As for the signings, the Tavares deal is fair. I know it won't happen, but this shows that it could work. The Moore signing is more realistic and he would be a good partner to play with Karlsson.

With the 2018 draft, I'm hoping that either Carolina or Montreal go for Tkachuk and that allows Zadina to slip to the Sens at #4.

How many times am I going to have to say this. Blues are not going to part ways with Parayko so your going to have to find another way to trade Hoffman to the Blues.

Tell that to the Blues fans who have posted trades involving him. That's the only reason I proposed it. What sort of deal would you do in order to get Hoffman?

I think Hoffman + late first is probably worth just about a little more than Parayko. So value wise it looks like a solid trade for both teams.
Dont know if STL would be willing to give him up though.

I'm not sure that they would be willing to either. But I had seen some posts where St. Louis fans had proposed trades involving him so I figured I'd toss my own scenario in there. The Arizona trade is highly unlikely to happen, so maybe even something where Ceci is thrown into that trade and Fabbri is also coming back would work as well.
