Pretty sure it will take far more then Max Pacioretty, To get Jonas Brodin out of Minnesota.

Virtually all trades of Pacioretty never consider his just one year term. So many trades have his "trading value" so one sided for Montreal

That's true most of them are sign and trade deals, If Max would agree long term with the Wild. And i'm pretty sure he would. Then the value is definitely much closer to fair value.

Except sign and trades don't happen. Teams DO NOT allow other teams negotiate with their players who have a year left in contract. Reason is that if no agreement, the player has to go back to a team that doesn't want him. Gee, it might affect the players play in his expiring UFA year, so he almost doesn't want to hear about earlier.
Signs and trades are just for the weak minded who can't make a logical trade. And the Wild are one team that don't need another big cap hit.
