Trades
1.
MTL
  1. Borgström, Henrik
  2. 2019 3rd round pick (FLA)
Additional Details:
3rd becomes 2nd if Patches resigns OR Panthers make 2019 playoffs. 3rd becomes 1st if Patches resigns AND Panthers make 2019 playoffs.
FLA
  1. Pacioretty, Max
Additional Details:
That crucial next top 6 F so the Panthers can come back strong next year.
2.
MTL
  1. Nyquist, Gustav
Additional Details:
2018 1st (#6)
Trading down to draft Boqvist (We need Defense). I tried to balance out the trade with the players, but u can let me know how fair this is.
DET
  1. Schlemko, David
Additional Details:
2018 1st (#3)
Trading up to draft Zadina.
3.
MTL
  1. Varlamov, Semyon
  2. 2019 1st round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
Rights to Nieto
We take their starter as sort of a cap dump (but he’ll also be our temporary starter). Idk if this is fair, but I tried.
COL
  1. Price, Carey ($2,000,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Colorado gets an elite goaltender.
4.
MTL
  1. Muzzin, Jake
  2. Pearson, Tanner
  3. 2019 1st round pick (LAK)
Additional Details:
I can add more if this isnt a fair deal.
LAK
  1. Galchenyuk, Alex
  2. Petry, Jeff
Additional Details:
LA needs some energy in their offense, a kick in their step. Galchenyuk hopefully could provide that. They also get a D to round out their top 4 (Martinez-Doughty; Phaneuf-Petry).
5.
MTL
  1. Simmonds, Wayne
  2. 2019 2nd round pick (PHI)
Additional Details:
Simmonds can add a big physical presence to MTL.
PHI
  1. Weber, Shea ($1,857,143 retained)
Additional Details:
Philly gets a RHD which they don’t have a lot of. Believe it or not, I saw a Weber to Philly trade featured on an NHL game when I was in Be A GM mode, and it actually looked pretty good.
6.
MIN
  1. Drouin, Jonathan
  2. 2019 2nd round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
Before, the Canadiens traded a LHD for Drouin. Now we trade Drouin for a RHD. The Wild need that top dog offensively, and maybe Drouin could provide.
2nd becomes 3rd if Drouin reaches 60 points next year (career high).
7.
MTL
  1. Bennett, Sam
  2. Brouwer, Troy
  3. 2020 1st round pick (CGY)
  4. 2020 2nd round pick (CGY)
Additional Details:
Idk the exact value, but I think this is close. Trading for Sam Bennett to b a 3rd/4th line Center.
CGY
  1. Gallagher, Brendan
Additional Details:
Calgary gets a RW to play on the top line.
8.
MTL
  1. Hanzal, Martin
  2. Spezza, Jason
  3. 2019 1st round pick (DAL)
  4. 2020 3rd round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
We’ll take Spezza’s 7.5M for the last year and Hanzal’s 4.7M for the next 2.

Minni doesn't need another forward, especially a very meh one in Drouin that costs 5.5m. What is fascination, and I think so unrealistic that Florida is going to trade their top prospect for one year of Patches. I really don't see the benefit to the Kings, adding more cap, losing a first rounder, for really two average guys. Does Simmons NTC include Montreal? And the big question, do teams want Weber and his eight year contract? And if the answer is that the contract is fine, front loaded, he might retire etc.....then why doesn't Montreal keep him.

Value-wise, you are probably right on with the Druin/Spurgeon trade...however, as palhal said, the Wild simply do not need more forwards...especially perimeter-playing left handers. Druin also seems to come with baggage, and I can't imagine any team wanting more of that.
