This could be done, and i really like JVR, but id rah spend the money somewhere on defense. Not on carlson, but san the money for a future offseason or save the money for a defenseman acquired through trade. Thats just me though

Would not resign JvR, would rather keep Bozie if he's willing to take on 3C money and a paycut to stay in Toronto...

I'd take both JVR and Bozak back if they're willing to give us sweet hometown discounts. Bozak might...not sure JVR will. Maybe the plan is to let both hit free agency and then give the leafs a shot to pitch a competitive offer.
