Description

I think the Wild will stand pat in real life and only sign their own rfas like dumba and zucker and sign a couple of depth ufas. But if I was the GM I would trade for Skinner in hopes of showing the fans that you are still trying to win and hoping Skinner catches fire and returns to his 40 goal potential alongside Staal and the elite playmaking Granlund. This trade is risky for Minnesota because you are giving up Nino Niederreiter, who had a similar statistical year to skinner, a genuine top 6 prospect in Kunin and a pick. But I think you have to take the risk because this current wild team isn't winning the cup. You hope Skinner can score 40 and maybe you can make a deep playoff run. I also think Carolina accepts this trade because they will start to believe they are gonna lose skinner to free agency and getting a top 6 forward, a top 6 prospect and a pick in exchange for a super flashy and up and down skinner is a great hall.

That is WAY, WAY too much for Skinner and his concussion problems. I wouldn't do Niederreiter straight up for him.
