I'm just gauging value on that EDM trade I have no clue what they value him at. Maybe switch it to a 2nd then?

I've seen Koivu to MTL in a couple of roster creations... but I missed anyone citing any indication that Koivu expressed willingness to be dealt there (or anywhere for that matter). I had only heard (from Russo on radio and/or Russo-Souhan show) that perhaps Fenton would be willing to ask Koivu if he is able to line up a trade partner. Just curious if you had heard something different than that, and from where? It feels like a bit of an overpayment for Puljujarvi in my opinion as well. ... and despite what the brass did with this year's first round pick, I am not sure I want to go four consecutive years without bringing in a first round player to the org.

Good point on the 1sts. I haven't seen anything concrete about Koivu being willing to go there, but I do know that Russo said if Fenton went to Koivu about a trade, Koivu would be offended and allow it. Also, Mikko's older brother Saku played for Montreal so maybe that would interest him? Idk

I think you could almost get Puljugarvi and Nurse for that offering.

I am a big T. Johnson fan, but I don't think it's a wise move to trade for him. I am always fearful of how long tiny players will hold up in this league... This is why I am always trading Spurgeon.

Martin's days as an NHLer are probably done. I'm a much bigger Gopher hockey fan than a Wild fan so he is special to me, but I just don't think he has anything left to offer. Plus, I think Seeler showed he is more than ready to take on full-time NHL duties. He would also add a lot of piss and vinegar to the Wild blue line...which is something they desperately need!

As always, I am more inclined to trade Zucker than Nino, but I would seriously consider that deal.
