As a Jets fan, this team scares me, with or without the addition of Maroon. Tarasenko, O'Reilly, Perron, Schwartz, Bozak - this team screams depth and top end talent. Prediction - the Blues return to the post season this year, finishing in 1st or 2nd in the central division. I think Jets, Blue, Preds should be able to handle the central a little better this year, with a possible outside push from the Avs as they will continue to get better. Hawks are still stuck in a rebuild and I think the Wild will taper off this year if they don't get the same sort of year out of Staal. Dallas could be good, but it all depends how healthy Benn and Seguin are.

Agreed man, Preds Jets and Blues on paper should be the top teams, but like you said Dallas and Avs can be good also. Central should be a really good this year.

I think it all depends on goaltending this year. Jets have the best offense, Nashville has the best defense, and the Blues are in between on both. If Rinne plays at Vezina level, Nashville wins the central. If Helkeybuck plays like last year, Jets win the central. If Allen doesn't go through a two month spell where he can't save a beach ball, Blues win the central.
