I mean...look at that DEFENSE!! OH.MY.GOD!!

This team would give a run for it's money to any World Cup team. I already said, in a previous post, that USA might be that favorite, but honestly, I think Sweden are, a little bit in front of USA-CAN-TNA. Bold statement, I know...but look at that DEFENSE! And the offense is as good as any. I can't wait for that world cup...feels weird to say that, but since we don't have the olympics anymore, it's the only REAL best on best we have, right!?

i dont think steen makes that team. hell be bought out or cap dumped by that time.

He'll still be good enough for 4th line duty, PK and a shutdown role. He's not done, he will still be able to play in 2 years. It is possible, though, that some young kids explose in production in the next 2 years and grab his spot (Elias Pettersson!). Still, what do you think overall?

ya i feel someone will take his spot. overall it was good. i would see hornquist out and stralman out too. They will all be past prime by the time this team actually plays. right now there the right choice tho.

Sweden will have a good a team as anyone

Yeah but Ullmark is coming up. He'll play at least 35 games this season with BUF, and probably 50 next season. This guy is the real deal. He'll take over Lunqvist as the true #1 Swedish goalie.
