Hanifin would get between 5-6 on 7-8yr deal. Other than that RFA signings are on point. Czarnik can play, but he is 4th liner with PK skills which is exact time where he would be used. Also instead of Foo I would expect roster spot for Dube on wing and Valimaki on 3LD with Rasmus Andersson. Also Peters would try Tkachuk with Gaudreau and Monahan. If Im treveling I would try to trade Frolik to Florida for Petrovic and McGinn as 4th liner and DD partner for Valimaki. I would change up your lines tho.

Gaudreau-Monahan-Tkachuk
Neal-Backlund-Dubé
Bennett-Ryan-Lindholm
Czarnik-Jankowski-Frolik
Quine-Lazar

Giordano-Brodie
Hanifin-Hamonic
Valimaki-Andersson
Kulak

i dont think he gets that personally all reports are cgy would like a longer term deal but hanifin camp wants bridge then to sign a big one in 2-3 years. could be wrong. Dube needs a year in the ahl to develope more we are crowded now he can play top min there thinking he is going to jump into the top 6 when we made trades to help just that is crazy and too much to ask out of the gate. this was just a pipe dream top 6 to start will no doubt be johnny monny lindholm tkachuk backs neal. valamaki by all means can make the team one of the few arm chair gms i left him off the nhl roster. i dont mind your lines at all. thanks for the input

I think Peters wants to really strengthen that top line and give them a chance to score 90-100 goals. If Czarnik has that level of skill and chemistry and can score 25 goals......whoa. Neal, Tkachuk, and Lindholm all seem ready to do that job though.

Love the idea, and I’ve got my fingers crossed too. But not sure Peters gives this a proper look until an injury forces his hand to get creative.

The exciting thing is that CGY’s 2nd, 3rd, and 4th lines look fantastic if Czarnik takes the top line RW spot.

I don’t see Brouwer getting bought out though. And he probably earns his 4RW role with two solid linemates in Ryan playing middle.

100% agree i actually bought brouwer out thinking i was going to be tight on cap space but could easily leave him there in and out of the line up who ever is hotter at the time.
