The Rangers sell a 2nd line C for 2 4th line forwads, a 3rd and a 5th? Call me ignorant, but what makes the Rangers WANT De La Rose with what we've seen so far. At best right now he's an AHL/NHL tweener or 4th liner. Shaw is a slightly better player than De La Rose, but is on a longer term deal that's more expensive than he's worth. Gorton turns that down for sure.
