Lines are definitely not exact, but that's not the point.

While the Kovalchuk signing has definitely helped put us in cap hell, it could also serve as a major incentive for our two Russian prospects and former teammates of Kovalchuk, Nikolai Prokhorkin and Alexander Dergachyov. Prokhorkin has gotten off to a hot start in the 2018-19 KHL season with SKA St. Petersburg, and Dergachyov is a hulking 6'5 power forward that could add size to the team, both could likely be useful to our depth in the future.
