Stan and Q may just want him to get a taste of NHL action. I don't actually think they're going to keep him in the NHL for more than 9 games. As for Saad...I'm with @kmatela78 . I don't think he stays with Kane despite the training camp or the preseason lines to date. They didn't do well last year and I don't think that line...and specifically Saad on that line...played well yesterday. Sure they got a goal, but it was almost like Saad accidentally made that pass. He's the "man child". He's never been a finesse player. He's gotta crash the nets. I think he goes back with Toews because Kunitz is not the right fit there. Kane can make another player good.
Kane and Boqvist together had some zest!!! Still don't think they burn a year of his eligibility though.
