Description

Trade Anisimov to make more cap room to resign DeBrincat, Kahun, and Kampf.

Resign Crawford to a slightly lower value deal as he gets into his upper 30's, with Neuvirth as a solid backup and Nalimov waiting to take his place.

Bring up Boqvist, Beaudin, and Wise and sign Shalunov to bring speed and skill to the team. There may be some growing pains but overall this is a better team.

Make the playoffs, ???

After this year, even if they don't win, the younger guys will have more experience and the older core will still have enough in them to make another run at the Cup.

Rebuild on the fly, and profit.

This looks like it'll be a hard year Cap Wise...then next year with Jokiharju...yikes. Tough decisions ahead. There might even be a CBA opt out...likely a compliance buyout or 2 similar to last time. That'll make things easier. I'd prefer to keep AA his last year and trade away either the Big Kahuna or Saad for that matter. Having the AK72 line back is huge.
