Description

Assuming the team cools down by Dec-Jan, and our only realistic hope for the playoffs is to chase the second wildcard. Management wisely decides to be sellers at the deadline, and keep stocking high draft picks to build around Kotka, Suzuki, etc. The goal is to peak in 2-3 years hoping that Price and Weber are still contributing at that point.

Assume Habs pick at #7 (MTL), #17 (AZ) and #23 (COL) in 2019 with these 1st round picks. Their choices are Peyton Krebs (LW), Philip Broberg (LD) and Nolan Foote (LW) respectively

The 30-man roster is meant to represent an organizational depth chart around August 2019. I think it's safe to assume Alzner will be bought out at some point in 2019 or 2020.

I think the trade values are reasonably fair to both teams in each case, but feel free to offer constructive comments. I'm just doing it for fun....
