Columbus isn't going to take that likely as the Rangers will offer more.

Washington is just not a good move. We have too many defensive prospects ready next year, wasting picks is not necessary. Keep Rutta for the year along with Davidson and Forsling and they will be okay and serviceable for the rest of the season. LIke you have, move Manning is most important.

Good thoughts here just needs tweaking but the biggest concern is how do you re-sign Duchene = $7.5M, Panarin = $9.5M plus all the others? You are going to likely go over the projected $82M cap without room for the bonuses owed.

Panarin is worth way more than a crapy forward and a 2nd round. We can wait till the season is over and just resign him. If we were trading for him give them Saad,2 prospects a 1st and 2 round pick

Hate to burst your bubble, but Columbus doesn't have RFA rights on Panarin, he's an unrestricted free agent. There is not a chance he re-signs with Columbus. Columbus will lose him for nothing if they don't trade for him. That said, it will take a 1st and a very good prospect if someone wants to rent him for the rest of the season.
