Description

This is a major cap dump for LA. They lose Carter, and underperforming Clifford and Lewis, and an eighth D. They gain Kesler and two picks. This is important for LA because they gain over 4 million in cap space plus a couple picks. Ladue is worth the second, and the combined LA players score about 66 points over a full year. Subtract Kesler's 18 projected points, and LA is losing two roster players that will score 24 points each and gaining 4.2 million cap space and a fifth round pick. Maybe Anaheim will have to add a middle prospect. Kesler will have a more advanced offensive role on LA and will get a fresh start on a team that is less than an hour away, so he agrees to waive his NMC.
