first off I didn't do any aides because as fans I think sometimes we unrealistically get selfish making one sided trades.

OFFENSE: to be honest I really think that what you saw last year will be what you see this year. I still believe in Krieder becoming more then what he has shown. Hayes had a dismal sophomore year, still think there's upside. Not 100% sold on playing C it's just he looks so much more comfortable there so that's why I left him there. Staalberg really came on strong near the mid point of the season right into the playoffs. Hope he's back. I still think maybe dangling out Nash, Krieder, Hayes and seeing what Gorton may see in return though is something that definitely needs to be explored.

DEFENSE: again unless Gorton gets really creative I think we see is what you'll get. Not much term, too much money and NMC with G and Staal. So I'm not going to throw out thoses hypotheticals of "ifs". As far as that 3rd pair not saying anything that no else is thinking, Skeji and McIlrath it's their job to lose. That 7th D spot I think it'll be through some minor trade or internally. Someone like Bodie who I really like.

GOAL: Hank is going to be Hank. Even through I thought Raanta had a great respone to that dip mid season I thought after he finally recovered from that injury he played solid. Though I think it's time to move on to Hellberg. When they traded for him at the draft and signed him to that 2yr deal it was to see how he'd do has a full time started in Hartford and 30 wins later I think he deserves the shot. They'll most likely bring in some get into came to compete but I'm banking on Hellberg.
