I disagree draisaitl is 13th in league scoring and under a reasonable long term contract. Cap space isn’t really an issue for the canes they have tons of it.

Also that TOR move is extremely bad, and TOR has absolutely no need for Benning and Bear... They already have a decent backup D in Holl and Liljegren coming from the AHL...

Puljujarvi only seems like a bust cause plays in Edmonton. Everyone looks like crap except for mcdavid and drai. Benning is an upgrade over Ozhiganov. I don’t see Gardiner resigning after this year. Brown hasn’t put up numbers over his career that suggest he’s worth more than a bottom pairing dman.
