Trades/Signings to upgrade top 6

Created by: ChiHawks34
Team: 2018-19 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 23, 2017
Published: Nov. 23, 2017
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
The scary part here is even with a 5m cap rise instead of 7m, the hawks could fit the cap hits of james neal, pacio, Carlson, and resign most of the depth if a seabrook trade happens. With 7m in extra cap space, the hawks would still have almost 3m to make more moves if necessary.

Seabrook blocks the trade to Arizona. Even if he did Waive you are not giving Arizona enough to eat that contract.
For some reason you've traded amisinov but kept him in the lineup.
Last thing I would like to say is the top 6 isn't the hawks biggest concern its the back end that needs help first. Any money being spent should be on the defence.

i kept him on the line up because its more a show that the hawks could spend around 10m in cap on the top 6 if they wanted to. Debrincat will be a lock in top 6 if not by the end of this year, next year, so the hawks could spend 6-7m on top 6 then have that extra 3-4m to do whatever they wanted even if seabrook isn't moved. Though i think he will be moved if not at arizona then somewhere else with some retained salary. It shows the hawks have more than enough cap space to make moves, keep their depth together and get better in whatever position they feel they need to improve most.

Honestly Brent is a great player with a bad contract, he'd be a fantastic number 3 on a lot of teams.

Wait, you traded Anisimov to MTL for Pacioretty.

Why is he in the 2nd line?
