Trades
1.
NYI
  1. Barrie, Tyson
Additional Details:
NYI solidifies their defensive core and Barrie is under contract for 2 more seasons after this one. He brings a scoring touch and is generally better in his own end versus Pelech/Mayfield/Pulock/Seidenberg.
COL
  1. Beauvillier, Anthony
  2. Kulemin, Nikolai
  3. Wotherspoon, Parker
  4. 2018 1st round pick (NYI)
  5. 2018 2nd round pick (NYI)
Additional Details:
COL continues their rebuild. Beau has Top-6 potential and is one of the Isles top forward prospects, and has the skill to play both C and W. Wotherspoon had a fantastic camp and is playing well in his first AHL season. He could be NHL ready by the start of next season. The picks would give COL 3 1st's and 3 2nd's in the upcoming draft.

Kulemin can be immediately LTIR'd but is needed for cap purposes.
2.
NYI
  1. Crawford, Corey
Additional Details:
Goalie sorted. Crawford has experience as a true #1 goaltender and has won cups as well. He knows what it takes.
CHI
  1. Greiss, Thomas
  2. Hickey, Thomas ($1,000,000 retained)
  3. Nelson, Brock
  4. 2018 2nd round pick (CGY)
Additional Details:
Not sure what's going on with the Blackhawks this year. They could turn this around, but I think they'd look long and hard at this offer.

Nelson offers Chicago some much needed C depth behind Toews and Anisimov. He also has experience at W and is a 40 point per season player.

Greiss is a cheaper goalie who which would allow Chicago to spend some money elsewhere.

Hickey affords Chicago increased depth on the blue line, and is on an expiring deal. He could be kept probably for close to the $2.2AAV he's getting now.

The 2018 2nd can become a 2018 1st if NYI reaches the ECF.

Shores up areas of greatest need (goaltending, defense), keeps electric Top 6 untouched. Sold. Only thing I’d add would be a trade for a PK specialist. I mean, how many picks would it take to get Glendening?

2 players on expiring contracts and a below average goalie for the current top player on the Blackhawks? You must be kidding. 0 reason Chicago would even consider this.

Hawks fans - you DO realize you'll have money to resign Nelson and Hickey...right?

Those trades make zero sense...no way hawks trade Crawford much less trading him for what you are offering and Tyson Barrie is exactly the type of D man we don’t need...no thanx
