Salary Cap Mode: Basic

First off, I forgot to raise the cap but this still gives the Rangers around $7M space for anything else.

•JT is easily worth 5 or more. Still not at his peak and will continue to produce.
•Hayes is basically the same. I’m not fond of his urgency at points but, he’s definitely deserved a contract.
•Vesey is still young and shows signs of improvement. He’ll be better. Deserves a decent bridge contract.
• Grabner is self explanatory. If we have room for him, he 100% deserves a contract. He may even deserve more but he’s definitely worth 3-4. You can’t say otherwise with his age.
•Ryan Graves resigned and FINALLY brought up. Playing with Mcdonagh would be great for him.
•Brady Skjei is our future and easily deserves $5M+.
• I think Marc Staal finally goes we could also keep him now with the cap.
•Boo deserves a spot on the 4th line. It really could’ve been him or Desarnais.
•Antti Raanta is once againa NYR!

Now about the Nash Trade:
• Done at the deadline
•A team that looks dangerous but needs a last piece on wing.
•Rangers could use another 2WD/ DD for their own playoff push (It could’ve really been any Defenseman on whatever team that wanted a veteran FWD.)Rangers also retain half of his salary.
•Maybe teams like Montreal, Winnipeg, Nashville could pick him up. Just speculation.
In conclusion, I love this team. With the reamped defense young and old, deep offense(Chytil and Andersson are ready), Lundqvist still being King Henrik: this team could be a serious contender.
