      Too high of a price for Higgins-Matthias duo, since Matthias is a goner as it is. Little chance for EDM-VAN trade I'd say. Love the Gudbranson addition but not for the price of Tanev. Much rather see Edler in there myself smile. Vey will stay, since he is Benning's project worth 2nd round pick.

      Initially had Matthias and Higgins straight up for Foligno and 31st pick... forgot to add Markstrom, buffalo wants a goalie and could use some veteran wingers to go with all their young centres... Tanev is better offensively than Gudbransson, but is soft and has only gotten marginally better since he joined the league. Tanev is better suited to the East, and is worth giving up to move up to the top 15 in the draft. Edmonton is shopping Draisaitl, and Shinkaruk still has high value, and throwing in Clendiening will help Edmonton's defence problems.

      Vey is useless.

      Reaching on just about all of these trades. Jensen isn't worth much these days. But that trade is irrelevant. The buffalo trade: Markstrom=3rd, Marthais (rights) 6th or 7th, higgins is a 2nd (50s) or 3rd. Two of those combined are worth the pick. And no one piece is worth foligino. Also Drasaitl will go for more he's really highly touted
