Colorado wouldn't pull that move, he's a pretty good defender, and to retain 2 million for the next 5 years for scraps isn't enticing.

He and Marner will get close to draistl just because of there first seasons and how good they are this year even though they don't have as many points as they where expected too.

No way Nylander gets more money then Ehlers and Pasta (two players from his draft that are better then him and are signed in 6m range)
