Description

Please offer thoughts about what it would take to pull the trigger on the trade. If Anaheim is selling at the deadline it might be time for a rebuild.
Perry would be unstoppable on the first line with Marchand and Bergeron. This would also allow Pasta to move to the 2nd line so Krejci will have a great player to pass too. Krejci and Pasta have great chemistry.

Would rather keep spooner and bjork, and the first rounder, seeing as it is supposed to be a very good draft year. The team has finally moved to faster and younger, so Perry wouldn't help us that much either, especially with the cap hit that comes with.

HOWEVER I am sure Chia would take McQuaid and maybe even hastily overpay for him, due to him possibly being on the hot seat right now

Pass on Perry and a big reason is his cap hit. I just can't see Boston taking on a massive hit like that when they played hard ball with Pasta over the summer and got him to agree to a $6.66 million per deal. Honestly I don't see a glaring need for Boston right now. We could maybe use an upgrade a 3C or try to find some LHD help, but it'd all be short term as there are guys in the pipeline that are close to NHL ready (if no already NHL ready). Boston is in a terrific spot right now and I think Sweeney doesn't get enough credit for what he's been able to do in just under 3 years.
