Description
Let me know what you guys think, MTL wants a scoring TOP 6 player, prospects and picks, so this could potentially be a good trade. i put a 3rd round because Brandon saad is younger than pacioretty and is very good winger so they would not need to give up a 1st in this case.

Saad and Pacioretty actually match up very well, so that’s the kind of trade that would probably be 1-for-1, with maybe a few late rounders mixed in. But, it’s very hard to see that kind of deal happen, especially considering how much the Hawks gave up for Saad this offseason, only doing it essentially to make their stars happy.

MP needs a change of scenery and saad is a great replacement, Max needs a true #1 center and i think he would flourish in Chicago.

Not really. Max has about 130 points more since 2012.

It builds up overtime obviously, and while pacioertty is better, you still gotta weigh age and how much chi gave up for saad.

Bad trade. Habs need a centre. At least have a center prospect. We also don't require any lw, as we have an abundance of them. If you acquire a center, Drouin moving back to lw. Galchenyuk can play both sides but is a left shot. If Mtl does get some centers both Drouin and Galchenyuk will be on left side. Hudon, Lekkhonen, Carr, and Deslauriers are all lw so they ok there.
Get a centre or a rw as only prospect at rw is Scherbak. I also like Deslaurier as our 4th LW. Good trade to acquire Deslauriers
