Pitt fair enough, i don’t like the 5th there but i could live with it.

Dallas passes, not throwing away a 2nd to expiring contract goalies and 1 year of Benn and some cap space for this year only.

CBJ passes.

Vegas is intriguing. I like it more for Vegas than i do for Habs.

Theodore isn't getting traded, And Johnson isn't being dealt to a team that has no chance of making the playoffs like Montreal.

You might be right on Theodore. It all depends how horned up LV is about winning the Cup this year. As for Johnson, he has absolutely no say in where Columbus decides to send him.

If Columbus deals Johnson pretty sure they grant his wish of at least dealing him to a playoff team, Montreal will be sellers not buyers so i don't see Johnson in their future.

He's the one holding them hostage. If I were Jarmo Kekäläinen, I'd send him to whatever team offers me the best way to win the Cup. That's probably not Montreal, but if it is, he'd be dumb not to take it. But Kekäläinen should also send a message to agents/players that they don't appreciate getting jerked around in public.

Assuming the Habs are planning to return to being a full-cap team, meaning they'll be adding about $16M to their payroll next year, this deal makes a lot of sense as Clarkson becomes moot. Hemsky, Grabovski and Johnson vanish, along with Pleks.

Theodore could get a big raise. Price's extra $4M kicks in, but you'd have to be sure you're going to be aggressive/successful in the UFA market.
