2017-18 Deadline

Created by: GriffinCanucks
Team: 2017-18 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 15, 2018
Published: Jan. 15, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Penguins Trade - Granlund provides an under achieving penguins team some depth. Granlund does everything right. He can score, play d, play pp, play pk and is young. What else could you want in a depth player?

Washington Trade - Gudbranson doesn’t fetch as much as he costed to come to Vancouver but he adds depth to a team who lost there’s last off season.

Kings Trade - Vanek does what Vanek does. Dealt at Deadline to a team who needs scoring on the wing for picks.

Lightning Trade - Hutton gives a average Tampa d core some depth. This is their year to win so might as well go all for it. Hajek gives the Canucks a good d prospect which they lack there of. Hutton doesn’t seem very high on Canucks managements depth chart, wouldn’t be surprised to see him dealt.

You seriously think you're getting a 1st round pick for Markus Granlund who has 11 points in 44 games?

He almost scored 20 goals last year, was stuck on Sutters wing most of this year on a shutdown line. Shows he can produce on the 1st powerplay with good players. So yes I think he can.

Every trade makes sense IMO except the Granlund trade. No ways he’s worth a 1st rounder
