When Frolik Returns- Lines

Description
Personally I see the flames still lacking a top 9 R shot forward, but with Brouwer playing well on Backlunds wing, might as well keep it going... he seems more engaged and appears to be digging in harder and playing more like the player we thought we were getting when Brad signed him. Troy is playing that simple, north/south game that made him successful. You can hand them the defensive match ups, and hopefully Troy can maintain his play.

Once frolik is healthy I would like to see the team give more offensive responsibility for Tkachuk, he looks ready to take on a more offensive role, while maintaining that defensive game and helping out Sam/Jank in the Dzone. Tkachuk has a great shot, with that line creating so many chances they could benefit from Tkachuks shot and strong possession game.

As for the fourth line you can swap stajan/lazar/hrivik, but I'd like to see Hathaway be a staple on the RW as that will help to provide more physical play, to a line that could benefit from a spark to provide more energy.

Still think we have to find a top 9 forward at the deadline, almost prefer a C upgrade on the 4th line the most

I llike the idea, this configuration will give more of an offensive spark to the janko line and turn the backlund line into more of a conventional shutdown line with three veteran 200 foot players. But you're right, if we could somehow get a right shot forward that can put the puck in the net, we'd be golden.

Thank you very much. We are missing that R handed trigger man, and I dont think we are getting him this season... At the draft though there will be some RFAs floating around that will be needing new contracts that could be a fit. Personally I think we gotta take a look at: Sam Reinhart, Ryan Hartman, Willian Nylander, Joel Armia, Ryan Strome, Ondrej Kase, Jake Virtanen just a few player that would fit the age of our core going forward that have to potentially to be more impact players....

As for the deadline I would like to see us make a move to bring in an upgrade at C ice from Matt Stajan, I mean Mike Smith has more points......... Could become really dicey if any injuries occur, I think we could target a guy like Zemgus Girgensons, Colton Scevoiur, Mark Letestu type addition.

The other addition I have been bouncing around is Brock Nelson, Nelson would probably fit in Bennett/Janko well as he has a heck of a shot, shoots L, which stinks... Although it would allow the 3M line to keep doing its thing and bump Brouwer down to line 4.The cost is likely Michael Stone. It might be addition by subtraction... What I mean is Andersson comes up to take the place of Mike Stone, opens up a bit more pace to this team once again, creating a quicker transition on that 3rd pair, Stone's skating gets him caught out of position, and hampers his ability to get a stick on pucks from time to time, thus he's a master of shot blocking.......
