As much as this improves the defense, that forward line up is abysmal. You have Letestu as your 3rd center, and Kassian as a top line guy. Maybe if you traded away Klefbom for some offense that might make it better, but wow. This team won't be able to score at all.

On board.

NYR gonna need some more $$$ before the my can pull the trigger on this deal.

If you think Ryan McDonagh, Anthony DeAngelo, and Kevin Hayes are garbage than you need to watch some games because you CLEARLY have no idea what you're talking about.

Per value > RNH over hayes drai > deangalo McDonough > nurse but nurse is younger with an upside an can have a controlled contract McDonough asking for about 6.5 a year get real if you think this is a fair trade bud

McDonagh alone could almost get you both Nurse and Nuge, ALMOST

As for Draisaitl, DeAngelo, Hayes, and a 2nd round pick
I'm a quantity over quality guy when a team has a franchise star like McDavid

Connor doesn't need Leo, Oilers just have to fill up the rest of the team around him.

Why not have a Top 2 D, a 22 y/o OFD whose a righty, a 6"5 strong Two Way 26 year old Center, and a second round pick on one of the deepest drafts in history.

perhaps the Rangers throw in another minor piece, but the deal isn't terrible
