Surrounding the most accurate shooter in the NHL w/ talent

Created by: MajesticWalrus
Team: 2017-18 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 29, 2018

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Gaudette comes in at the end of the season when done college. Sign every rookie we need to and wait patiently for them to be able to leave their junior or international league. Trade away a lot of people to help other teams playoffs pushes amd make room for our rookies and at the same time finishing off the rebuild with all those picks from those sales amd using the people we drafted. Wiecioch gets called up to be replaced by juolevi next season. Trade nilsson later and get a talented young goalie in return and let demko take the reigns. DiPietro matures in juniors. Finally, vanek and eriksson and horvat were good while vanek and gagner and boeser were good so its time to put this as a top line.

Ye. He might've won Accurate shooter challenge, but some of the best guys like stamkos, ovechkin, kucherov, and laine weren't in it.

Maybe, because even if boeser went again he might not have even got the same time. One miss and you seconds behind which matters a lot when boeser gets like 11 seconds in first and marchand took 44 seconds. Which is still a pretty short amount of time. Its also dumb that if you hit the target it doesnt count if the light just switched before you hit it. The old accuracy test was better in that sense.

Evgeny Kuznetsov is reportedly injured, so the Caps would probably give at least a 4th pick and a middling prospect for Sam Gagner.

If i was the canucks gm i might take that. Like honestly i want to see them be much more aggresive at selling so we can start to see our good rookies.

One of their top scouts is Gagner's dad, so I doubt it happens, but I think Sam could really have a big role on a contender in Washington.
