Trocheck

Created by: JT_Miller
Team: 2017-18 Colorado Avalanche
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 2, 2018
Published: Feb. 2, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Credit to Johnnybokchoy for the Trocheck trade idea, however of the Avs seriously want to acquire Trocheck, they're going to have to pay. What do you guys think, too much or too little? Also I don't get to watch the Avs a lot so ignore the lineup.

Too much for Avs fans liking. I know thats a large part of the Duchene trade package, so it makes sense to send many pieces back to get a better player in Trocheck, but I wouldnt want to see them move so many future assets. Unless they can lessen it with a guy like Barrie to take out the 1st.

That makes more sense for the team long term

Do you think one of Greer or Compher instead of Bowers would work instead? I know it's a lot of futures to give up but they would be set down the middle for years.

Compher is untouchable to most Avs fans...hes mini drury and dont want to see him go again. Hes a legit clone of him.
Greer yeah they would move him if they can. Apparently Sakic was high on Bowers at the draft last year and wanted a 2nd 1st round pick to get him so dont see him giving him up already.

I love the idea of Trocheck but it would be hard for Avs fans to see futures go, its been so long since they have had a legit pipeline of young promising prospects. It would be fun to ride that wave for once but Trocheck is legit so thats a kind of guy you want to snag up.
