i watch KHL and there is a reason Russian officals left Markov off the top 40 names submitted and at the bottom of the B list .
he looks so friggin old and out of shape its actually sad like that old family dog who drags around its ass because its back legs are seized.
he got the KHL allstar game for the same reason Price got an NHL one , by Proxy due to KHL allstar format .

Sergachev is good but Drouin-Chucky are leading our PP and its the first time its looked alive since 2011 we are 9th in the NHL right now just off Drouin,Gallagher and Petry basically .

the issue is MTL fans are impatient and the Subban ones are illogical
it took subban years to become good all around and they even buried him at the start of his career because
he was never out of the penalty box under Jacques Martin and they ran him down like they do price every 3rd year and now Gallagher finally .
no matter how good or even Great you are in MTL they will run you down look at Kovalev our last PP powerhouse with 47 Power Play Points in his best season here (almost double the AVG on a good year here for player)
and the last player to score 80pts in a habs sweater and his return to the bell center next week is being trolled hard with disgusting comments about him being Russian

Someone just needs to tell MB to trade Pacioretty for the best package available, draft a center with your 1st, and get more youth into the lineup.

Except the best center is max ranked like 10th this draft. This year is almost entirely defensemen in the first round.

Lunderstrom is the only one i see who is a pure Center in the top 15 and he's at best a 2nd line center in 2-3 years

i think at this point we are better off Trading Patches to ANA
they have Kossila ,Terry ,Soy ,Steele ,Morand all Point Per Game + Centers in various stages of development in ANA who brought in Henrique
which means 100% either Terry gets moved or leaves UFA Aug 1st for nothing or they move out Kossila to keep him as regular call up working him in the line up.
ANA is the only team i know that has 4 centers of which all played top line at some point in the NHL so putting Patches there is a win win for them no matter what line he's on
he's got access to better Centers then he's ever, and i do mean ever had in MTL

ANA and STL are the only two teams with enough depth at Center in the Prospect pool to make it work
Kostin in STL would fit in here on Chucky's LW real nice i think

Jake Evans spent his first year NCAA at Center as a Senior and is having a Career year there and is a Hobey Baker Nominee
he'll be looking for a spot come March like Boeser was trying to see if he stays in MTL or leaves UFA AUG.1st
