As you have probably noticed already with the newly launched site, we are extremely pleased to announce that we have merged hockeycap.com and capfriendly.com into a single site!

We want to thank all of our users who have made Hockey's Cap great and who have let us know about errors, edits, and feature suggestions! We are extremely excited about the site merger and we can’t wait to let you in on the new features we have in store!

The existing features such as amchair-gm, mock-draft, and the waivers calculator will continue to work as they always have

Each page is much more mobile friendly across the site

Armchair-GM: roster updates will not affect your current roster positions
Armchair-GM: most defense default to their respective sides
Armchair-GM: On initial creation, players default by their caphit

Player pages: Every contract has signing date and team
Player pages: Accumulated cap hit and projected cap hitdisplayed
Player pages: ELC signing and and Waivers signing age as determined by the CBA specifications displayed

Home page: Roster size, contracts, injuries, projected cap space displayed

Team page: Single click button to convert from $USD to $CAD
Team page: Toggle to display signing bonus, performance bonus, and clause by year
Team page: Roster size, contracts, added as subtitles
Team page: Deadline cap space and Current cap space (the monetary cap value a team can add to their team to remain compliant) displayed
